C&P Training Services Ltd, part of the C&P Group of companies operates an approved and certified CompEx and Electrical Industrial training centre. We are leaders in providing specialist accredited electrical and industrial courses that are designed to ensure delegates gain the industry knowledge, competency, know-how, understanding as well as practical skills required.

Our training centre provides training and assessment for Electrical, Instrument & Mechanical Engineers, Supervisors and Technicians who need to develop and demonstrate their competency in a number of fields and disciplines. Our training team are there to also assist companies that wish to ensure they have a sustainable, competent electrical workforce to maintain and install general electrical equipment and within potentially explosive atmospheres. Our courses support vocational training which is a key element for the electrical labour market to function correctly, to create employment and to promote workers competency and professionalism.

Our CompEx Training Centre in Swansea, South Wales provides training and assessment for the whole of the UK and is for Electrical, Instrument & Mechanical Engineers, Supervisors and Technicians who need to develop and demonstrate their competency in the selection, installation, inspection and maintenance of “Ex” apparatus in potentially explosive atmospheres. We also provide on-site training as an option for clients requiring the CompEx ‘F’ Foundation Course.

Our Courses

CompEx Electrical Training Courses

We provide resits (practical and theory) for all courses along with pre-learning revision sessions. Our facility is available to you even if the initial course was provided at another CompEx centre.

Why Compex?

CompEx is a recognised qualification for ATEX, UKEx and IECEx electrical installations and inspections. The curriculum consists of practical training and assessment in a realistic, safe working environment and is a recognised worldwide qualification. Our hazardous area trainers and assessors have worked in hazardous areas over many years and are highly experienced and qualified to deliver training for explosive gases and vapours, intrinsically safe systems and combustible dusts.
