C&P Engineering Inspires Future Engineers at Glyncollen Primary School with The Bumbles of Honeywood Programme

C&P Engineering recently visited Glyncollen Primary School to deliver an engaging and educational session as part of The Bumbles of Honeywood programme. This initiative, developed by 2B Enterprising, aims to introduce young students to enterprise, teamwork, and STEM-related activities.

Representing C&P Engineering were Rebecca, one of our E&I Project Engineers, and Katie from our administrative team. They led an interactive session designed to spark curiosity in engineering and electrical concepts among the pupils.

Interactive Learning with The Bumbles of Honeywood

The session featured a variety of activities, which is centred around the Bumble family living in a hive under an apple tree in Honeywood. Through their adventures, children learn valuable lessons about community, diversity, and entrepreneurship. One of the highlights of our visit was the Buzz Wire game, an activity that challenges students’ hand-eye coordination and introduces them to basic electrical circuits. This hands-on experience not only made learning fun but also helped interpret engineering concepts for the young learners.

Fostering Early Interest in STEM

At C&P Engineering, we believe in the importance of early exposure to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects. By participating in programmes like The Bumbles of Honeywood, we aim to empower young students and showcase the exciting opportunities available in engineering and technology fields.

We extend our gratitude to Glyncollen Primary School for their warm welcome and to 2B Enterprising for developing such an impactful educational initiative. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with local schools to nurture future talent in the engineering sector.
