Luc Gwilym who is a first year E&I Apprentice at C&P Engineering Ltd has recently achieved the treble by winning ‘Supporters Player of the Year’, ‘Players player of the Year’ and ‘Young Player of the Year’ while playing for Abercrave RFC during their 2022/23 season.
Luc who is an openside Flanker said ‘he was thrilled to have won all these awards and was looking forward to playing for Abercrave in the forthcoming season’.
Luc also gave an insight into his training during his first year of working at C&P Engineering.
‘I’ve been based across many different sites and have been lucky enough to work at some of C&P’s main customers such as BOC, DOW, Vale Europe, Tata Steel Trostre and PCI Pharma Services.
I’ve been doing a variety of different tasks since starting, including various containment work, glanding and terminating and I’ve been fortunate enough to have been involved on many different jobs in my first year so I’ve been able to develop a lot of different skills. I’m looking forward to developing my skills and experience during the rest of my apprenticeship with C&P’.
